The Loft House
From historic tobacco barn to chic retreat, "The Loft" offers a unique apartment loft-like experience within its 1700 sq ft space. Prepare to be captivated by long-range mountain views and a design that fosters connection, featuring sprawling open spaces, high ceilings, generous windows, and an abundance of natural light. The loft boasts three elegant suites, including two king bedrooms and a queen bedroom, a deck with seating to take in the sunsets, and is just a short walk down to the manor house and its serene pond.

The FOREST DAY SPA
Immerse yourself in complete well-being at the Forest Spa, featuring a spacious 8 person sauna, a 12-foot swim spa, and two invigorating cold plunges fed from our own natural springs. Within the tranquil Geodome, discover a dedicated space for meditation or exercise, equipped with yoga mats and a TV for workout movies, as well as chairs and mediation mats. We had never done this before and, on the morning of our wedding, decided to give it a try and it was AMAZING! You've got to try the plunges if you stay on this property. The sauna and swim spa were big hits too. The weather was even nice enough for us to give the paddle boat a whirl! If you choose to stay on this property, there really is no need to go anywhere else. We loved every minute here and hope to one day return - maybe with friends for a nice getaway! The owners were incredibly helpful, responsive, and very lovely to work with! “Its a beautiful property with plenty to do. One day instead of going out, we fished, played games, etc. Marisa is very responsive and helpful. There were a ton of special touches all around the house; Carmel apple making basket, scavenger hunt, and special welcome basket. The most special part was that it was one of the kids 14th bday and they got her two thoughtful gifts!!! Lastly, they went to the grocery prior to us arriving so we didn't have deal with it. Note for the chefs reading this - I was very impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was. They had everything we needed to make incredible meals. Typically Airbnb's offer the bare minimum of kitchen appliances, pots/pans, spices etc.... This home was well stocked with everything we needed to cook for a group of 7 during our stay. We had a great time and will certainly come back!”

In particular, the huge kitchen and dining area in the manor were home to many warm, relaxed, laughter-filled meals. “Wonderful! Marisa's home worked perfectly for our group of 9 work colleagues on a leadership retreat. Only 2 people needed to share a room, otherwise everyone had their own private space. I was in the loft house up the hill and it was beautifully designed and appointed - 3 en-suite bedrooms each with well designed stylish bathrooms. The main house was perfect for a few days of meetings, pond swimming, and lounging on the deck. The pizza oven was a lot of fun and we enjoyed using the multiple fire pits and laws for cornhole, frisbee, and football. Communication was great, Marisa helped us find a private chef from the area who cooked us a delicious meal one night. Highly recommended.”

“This is an ideal place for a large family or group. We rented both houses so everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Every room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Kitchens were very well equipped for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. We had everything we needed. Weather was very cold so we were not able to get out to enjoy all of the outdoor amenities that were available. Marisa was always quick to respond to any concerns or questions we had. We were unsure of what we might find after Hurricane Helene came through the area. Marisa did a lot of research to reassure us we'd be able to get there and still be able to access most of the surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay.”

Our expectations were exceeded and every one of us had a great time and a very special experience. It was truly magical! I believe because of the many amenities, the spaciousness, and the comfort of the home, loft, and grounds everyone was able to enjoy themselves and relax.
We enjoyed everything - the pizza oven, corn hole, horse shoes, pond, fishing, paddle boat, floats, ping pong. movie projector, grills, large kitchen, etc. Marissa the host is extremely responsive and helpful. I can't think of a thing I would change!”

"My husband and I were married on this property and words cannot adequately express just how perfect this place was! We had 16 of our family and friends stay on the property, with another 17 guests in attendance at the actual wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner here as well as our reception and everything was PERFECT. The house had plenty of room for everyone and was beautifully decorated and adequately supplied with everything we needed! We honestly did not decorate much outside of what decor was already being used in the house because everything was so beautifully done. We were told MULTIPLE times by many of our guests how perfect this place was!"

“We can not put our stay into words. The two houses were immaculate and beautiful. The host made sure we were comfortable and had everything we could ever had needed. Pictures can not do this place justice. Its absolutely stunning inside and out. We had a pizza night that was a huge hit, the kids loved creating their pizza. Poles were in the water and kids in the paddleboat the majority of our 5 night stay. The price tag felt like a lot initially but truthfully the property is priceless and the cost could and should be more. I highly recommend staying here if able to, it will create perfect memories that will last a lifetime.”

We hosted our wedding on their property from Portland, OR and nothing can stop this woman and the team behind her. She was so thoughtful with each of her renovations and with the additions of the sauna, geodome, and spa. She has now seriously become one of my favorite humans and is truly just looking to make your stay for your group the most magical experience you could possibly have. From the hygge decor to the intentional spaces to the property itself to the chefs kitchens to the golf cart, if you are looking for a space for your group (kids of all ages included) this is the most beautiful compound you could possibly ask for. The proximity to Asheville proper and the airport is so conviennent as well as it is only 40 minutes away. Don’t let any hesitations stop you as it is well worth every penny you spend. We love them.”
